Biffy Clyro - Puzzle
The fourth studio album from the Scottish rock trio which features the hit singles Saturday Superhouse and Semi-Mental

Songs like "Saturday Superhouse" quite effectively along the race. But it seems to me that the band are more comfortable with more melodic, lyrical mood as anxiety-ridden post-Nirvana rock. The current single "Life Is A Problem Because Everything Dies" and "9/15ths" Gothic characteristic tinny vocals and strings Psycho-style, but I am not convinced something really bad is going to happen.
Much better is the most subtle rumbling, melodic pleasure of "Dances Like Dust", which is quite beautiful and ends with the first of two beautiful piano interludes. Biffy Clyro lies in the heart big, lyrical, heartfelt, stirring music. On the map of metal they are closer to U2 as Metallica.
The range of ideas is impressive. Prog fans will appreciate the end of the year "Now I am everybody" where delicate time signature and lush harmonies eventually sounding like Yes. "Who's Got A Match" is a stomper sing, and beefy riffs abound "Semi - Mental "and" Get F **** d Stud. "
The puzzle is whether this record is too good taste to match their ambitions beat world. The cleaner production filter dirt or sweat, it feels sometimes difficult to get involved.
The stand out track "Folding Stars" breaks the barrier, which is really exciting. Hundreds of years ago, a man sang a song to a woman, he could not, or could not hold. All men were sing that song has always been, at one time or another, and "Folding Stars" is that the song. If all of Puzzle is as good as this, Biffy Clyro would not take on the world, they had conquered it.
